"...Ruth Packer must be awarded the palm. She has looks, she can act, and she can sing, and she has musicianship, a quality that, alas, seems to be denied many singers. Her portrayal of the part of Violetta was really artistic. Arthur Copley also sung stylishly as Georges Germont, while his operatic son Alfred was well played by Raymond Nilsson."
The other parts were apparently well played "and the chorus and dancers did not let the performance down."
