A review of one performance

An extremely short review was given in the Edinburgh Evening News of Monday 28 February.

"in the part of Thaddeus Mr Edward Davies sang extremely well, and Miss Julia Caroli's voice was very well suited to the part of Arlene.  Mr Frank Clarke made a capital Count Arnheim, Mr Frederick Clendon was a realistic Develishoof, and the Florenstein of Mr Reginald Gordon was a diverting study.

The band played well under the baton of Mr Ronald Mackenzie, a clever young conductor."
