This team of soloists included Patricia MacMahon, a regular performer in concerts in Scotland, also a much respected teacher at RSAMD in Glasgow. Linda Strachan sang widely in concerts, including Mahler songs with the SNO.

John Robertson spent most of his career with Scottish Opera, but was, from time to time, able to find room for some additional concert work. Alan Oke would go on to spend most of his later career, working internationally, in the tenor repertoire. Early on, when he spent several seasons with Scottish Opera after training in Glasgow, he sang as a baritone.
