Only a few years had passed since the RSNO's memorable performance in the Caird Hall. The Orchestra of Scottish Opera must have enjoyed playing something they really didn't know. There were only a few occasions when Mark Wilde's busily developing schedule allowed him to return home.
The full programme began with a more familiar French work, the Fauré Requiem. After the Berlioz, the concert ended with a group of familiar Christmas Carols, for community singing.
