Elizabeth Atherton Suggest updates

British soprano.

Elizabeth Atherton studied at Trinity College, Cambridge before training in Glasgow at RSAMD. She won the Maggie Teyte Prize 2001 and Handel Singing Competition 2003.

Roles while at RSAMD included Alcina, Ilia and Female Chorus. Her early professional appearances included Helena for ETO and Melissa in Amadigi at Batignano. After joining WNO as an Associate Artist, she sang Pamina, Thibault, Countess Almaviva and Donna Elvira.
