This performance in the Perth Concert Hall saw a native of the city, veteran baritone Donald Maxwell, still quite happy singing a role that had been in his repertoire for years. The other two, rather less experienced, soloists also seemed entirely relaxed, giving an altogether enjoyable performance. The evening began with John Rutter's highly popular recent piece Mass of the Children.
