Another group of performances for David Pountney's highly successful, near-traditional Fledermaus staging. Not previously seen in Liverpool or Sunderland, it was also welcome back in Edinburgh. The cast was largely familiar, though Patricia Reakes shared the burden of the Rosalindes, as she had Donna Anna on the long spring tour of Don Giovanni.
