The second production for Scottish Opera by David Alden – a grippingly successful and adventurous follow-up to his Rigoletto. After the Festival, it was also performed in the main Glasgow season. By playing the opera without an interval the generation of tension was encouraged, bringing the work to a shattering climax. (Glasgow dates to be confirmed).
