Additions to the website in October

Work this month has been focussed on trying to ensure we have a complete list of casts, venues and performances for Sadler's Wells Opera, the forerunner of ENO. This has been hampered by the closure of their archive at present. Nevertheless, we will shortly be announcing completion of this stage in out work.

In the meantime, details have been added for the following productions:-

Andrea Chénier (1960), Barber of Seville (1944), Bohème (1941, 1944, 1961), Carmen (1963),  Cavalleria Rusticana (1963) and Cenerentola (1965, 1967).

Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda (2015), Così fan tutte (1944, 1966, 1967, 2015); Faust (2015) and Fledermaus (1941).

Also added were Flying Dutchman (1965), Freischütz (1965). Gianni Schicchi (1944) and Lucia di Lammermoor (1971, 1972, 1973); Madam Butterfly (1941, 1944, 1965, 1966, 1967), Magic Flute (1942); Marriage of Figaro (1941, 1965); Martha (1961); Pagliacci (1963).

And then to finish Rigoletto (1942); Tabarro (1944); Tales of Hoffmann (2015); Traviata (1941, 1963); Venus and Adonis (2015)
