OperaScotland's archivists have contnued to search archives and comb programmes for performance data and tour information, finishing Sadler's Wells Opera and continuing to add to Carl Rosa Opera entries. In addition to others, we have also added three casts for J W Turner Opera at the Lyceum, Govan.

Barber of Seville (1943; 1967), Belle Hélène (1963), Bohème (1943), and Bohemian Girl (1902).

Daughter of the Regiment (1902), Don Pasquale (1967), Gipsy Baron (1938) and Gloriana (1967).

Grand Duke (1990), Hirda (2015), Maritana (1902), and Marriage of Figaro (1942; 1943).

Masked Ball (1939), Mikado (1967). Rigoletto (1939), and Ruddigore (1967).

Samson and Delilah (1964), Seraglio (1964), Thieving Magpie (1966), and Traviata (1938; 1943; 1967).

Trovatore (1942) and Vie Parisienne (1964) complete this summary.

Amongst our findings this month are earlier  performances for Vilém Tausky and Joan Hammond, along with the first professional performance in Scotland of Gypsy Baron.
