Welsh tenor.

John Myrddin sang a wide range of roles, especially for dramaric tenor, such as Hoffmann, Manrico, Canio, Samson and Tannhäuser.

He studied singing in London at the Royal College of Music and Webber-Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, joining Carl Rosa as principal tenor in 1935. During the war he worked for ENSA and later rejoined Carl Rosa. He also sang with Welsh National, last appearing with them at the investiture of Prince Charles at Caernarfon in July 1969.
