Puccini's Tosca is be broadcast live and free in Duthie Park, Aberdeen as part of the BP Big Screen season run in conjunction with the Royal Opera House. The screening on 18 July (the only one in Scotland) starts at 7pm, the performance itself at 7.30. Although there are some tables and chairs, you are encouraged to bring your own, with rugs and picnics as you wish. Aberdeen City Council's Events team have arranged for relaxation of the alcohol restrictions, so bring some wine too! The coffee bar will be manned and of course toilets will be available.
No glasses (plastic or paper only) or barbecues allowed, and please remember to take away all your rubbish.
It seems likely that the weather will be good so everyone is hoping for a record attendance! See more images of this handsome production here.
