In recent years, the RCS have not only maintained the range of their public performances, but have improved the quality even more. The repertoire is carefully chosen with the performers in mind, and some truly rewarding experiences are on offer later this year. For example, see our listings for Rape of Lucretia and Opera Scenes in March. In April we have the exciting prospect of Kaspar Hauser- Child of Europe, a production that includes singers from the Nuremberg Hochschule. May brings Ye Cronies Opera Award, a concert by Scottish Opera Emerging Artists and a Masterclass with Jane Eaglen. In June we welcome again Ian Smith's Opera Workshops, and the season's programme ends with Die Zauberflöte. Lots to look forward to - click through, then click on the red pin and book your tickets now!
