Scotland's Festival of New Music

Sound, Scotland's Festival of New Music, has now reached its tenth anniversary.
With every year, this event becomes more international. As well as offering music from Turkey, Argentina, Norway and France, Scottish highlights include new commissions from musician-composers Alasdair Roberts and Ross Whyte.
Musical performances are spread right across Aberdeenshire.
Opera has a key role again this year, with two new works by young composer-writer teams. For further details, check out our listings here.
