Edinburgh Festival Fringe

The Fringe programme, just released, offers a number of exciting performances to tempt opera lovers.
Scotland's oldest continuously performing company, Edinburgh Grand Opera, present highlights representing sixty years of performances.
In addition there are offerings from a number of Scotland's new performing companies - Opera Bohemia present their new production of Bizet's Pearl Fishers; VoiceArc are to perform Richard Strauss's Ariadne auf Naxos and Aria Alba offer Handel's Semele.
Magnetic Opera make a welcome further appearance with Mozart's Marriage of Figaro.
In addition, there is to be some Chinese opera, and new works - Sasquatch;The Opera and The Marriage of Kim K.
