Party time in Duthie Park, Aberdeen as Puccini's La bohème, in the Royal Opera House's great production, is screened live and free as part of the annual BP Summer Big Screens programme. Regular attenders know what fun it is to be partying - surely more fun in Duthie Park than Cafe Momus (Act II) as shown in our picture! The free open air performance starts at 7.30 on May 17, and will be screened in Festival Square, Edinburgh as well. To see more details and images, check out our opera listings. Look up Duthie Park for pictures of all the fun at last year's opera, Madam Butterfly. (By the way, like so many events, it has been brought forward from its normal midsummer slot because of this year's Olympics). Why not let your friends know - and take a group along!
