Among the operas English Touring Opera are presenting at Perth Festival of the Arts in May is Mozart's Cosi fan tutte, perhaps the most perfect ensemble opera ever written. Just opened to warm reviews, unusually nowadays it is being seen in a period production. Our picture shows Kitty Whately as Dorabella and Laura Mitchell as Fiordiligi. The director is Paul Higgins, who has worked on many famous productions at the Royal Opera House. "There is much to admire and enjoy, with assured singing throughout" (Independent) "Lovely to look at and easy on the ear" (Evening Standard) Look at more images of this production of Cosi fan tutte, or look up details of the other productions. ETO are presenting Verdi's Simon Boccanegra in a modern staging and Donizetti's The Siege of Calais set at the siege of Stalingrad
