For some years now OperaScotland has offered an unparalleled source of information about the past, present and future of opera in Scotland. Visitors to the site from Scotland, England, USA and elsewhere have been increasing in number year on year. We intend that significant growth in both quality and quantity continues.

For some time, we at OperaScotland have been planning to bring you a newsletter. We see this as a way to bring many site features and discoveries to a wider audience.

However, other matters have needed attention and caused some delay. Entering current listings, researching and writing programme notes and improving the website have taken priority. Hardware and software have been upgraded behind the scenes.

But we are very soon about to send out the first newsletter.  Please tell your friends about it and encourage them to subscribe. Each issue will contain links to stories on artists, opera performances, companies or issues of interest.
