Aberdeen International Youth Festival

This remarkable Festival, now 42 years old, is continuing to develop its activities, which span the worlds of dance, theatre, world music, choirs, orchestras, jazz and opera. The operatic events are focussed on a residency for talented young singers, so for us it provides a chance to see and hear the talented young performers of the future.
Running from 25 July to 2 August, this year there is an added feature in the link with the Commonwealth Games. Check our listings for your opportunities to hear the singers.
