Prokofiev's amusing opera Betrothal in a Monastery (sometimes known as the Duenna) has rarely been seen in Scotland. In fact, the Bolshoi Opera brought it to Scotland for the first time in 1990 (read about it here). Prior to the 2012 production, the only other previous performances in Scotland were under the name of the Duenna by the RSAMD in June 1997, directed by James Robert Carson. Thanks to the collaboration with Scottish Opera, this month's performances are on an altogether more ambitious scale. Why don't you support the latest joint venture of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Scottish Opera? A memorable evening lies in store Click here for dates, times and casts, and to see more photographs. Click through the pins on the map to book tickets.
