Birth of another Scottish opera group

It's great to hear of another new venture in the world of opera.
The company, Le Petit Verre, has just announced their very first production, Engelbert Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel. This lovely score will be given by twenty-five young musicians. This sounds just what is needed to brighten the wintry nights.
Shows will take place in the Central Hall of the Assembly Roxy, Edinburgh, on November 9th and 11th at 7:30 pm.
Le Petit Verre operates on the basis of a completely student-run, non-profit organisation. Such a worthy enterprise deserves support from the outset.
